Why Vaken exists
Vaken is Swedish for "awake." It's the word that best sums up what we've built: a team of 25 artificial intelligence agents that looks for clients for your business while you sleep.
The problem we see every week
We've spent years running client acquisition for small companies from the inside: cold outreach, ad campaigns, content. The pattern repeats. The small business that needs clients has no sales team, can't afford a full-time SDR, and agencies are either too big for it or too opaque. So it ends up prospecting "when there's a spare moment," which is never.
The alternatives that already existed
Before building anything, we looked at what that company had in front of it. Four paths: the founder keeps doing it in spare moments, hire an SDR, hire a prospecting agency, or assemble a stack of tools piece by piece. Each one works for a specific profile, and all four share a problem for the 2-to-20-person company with no sales team: they either cost too much or demand management time that company doesn't have. We break down the numbers for each option in what B2B meetings cost to book, the comparison we wish we'd found ourselves.
We came from an agency
Vaken didn't start as a product idea: it started as agency work. Cold outreach with warmed-up domains, campaigns on Meta and LinkedIn, content that ranks. That machinery had been running for paying clients for a long time, operated by hand. What we did was turn it into a system: every process we already knew how to run became an agent with a name and a single job. That's why the 25 agents aren't a promise on a blueprint; they're the packaged version of something already in weekly use.
What Vaken does
You give it your domain. From there, five teams of agents work in a chain:
- Market map: reads your website and your competitors', profiles your buyer, and spots buying signals.
- Cold outreach: writes tailored emails, paces the follow-ups, and locks the meeting on your calendar.
- Ads: builds and tunes campaigns on Meta and LinkedIn.
- Helm: measures cost per lead, decides what speeds up and what shuts down, and reports to you every week.
- Visibility: SEO, search campaigns, newsletter, and social.
The promise isn't emails sent or impressions served: it's meetings booked on your calendar with people who fit what you sell. What a system like this can run on its own, and what stays yours (the call, the close), we cover straight in what AI acquisition agents actually do.
Why the agents have Norwegian names
Each agent carries a Norwegian word whose meaning is its job. Skriv ("write") drafts the emails. Skjold ("shield") protects the reputation of your sending domains. Møte ("meeting") finds an open slot on your calendar and locks it in. It's not decoration: when every piece has a name and a single job, you know exactly what's happening with your money.
Flat pricing, no surprises
Two monthly plans, no lock-in: Vaken 15 (€1,500 installation + €499/month maintenance, email prospecting) and Vaken 25 (€2,500 + €999/month, the full team with ads and content). Annual billing gets you two months free. Ad spend and third-party APIs are billed separately, and we say so on the homepage because we'd rather you know before the first call. Flat pricing is also a stance: if the cost depends on how many emails go out or how many contacts get loaded, the vendor's incentive is to inflate activity. Ours is a calendar with meetings on it.
What to expect from this blog
Here we'll share what we learn from running the system: what works in B2B prospecting, how we measure campaigns, which mistakes we make and how we fix them. No magic-growth promises. Data and method.
